think back to when Mick and Keith wrote this brilliant classic off their seminal Lp 'Exile' and if we don't think we've lost something special then we're crazy...and if we think that era is coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools...
photos featured, south east Queensland on dusk and south east Asia (Michelin star restaurant) - Part of Australia feels the wash of Asia across it, WA and the Territory (especially Darwin) yet all else is Oceania with that whole Coral Sea buzz, colonial architecture and more than a liberal dash of UK and European early influences...
can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days...in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout as they sang the blues, let it all hang out...rock and roll...

This is one of my absolute faves by The Stones from their excellent Let It Bleed album. Your version is excellent too. The lyrics are very appropriate for 2026.Great synth sounds DM style . This is so authentic and so close to the original vocally but I prefer your synth sound On main riff. The original version had more of a synth guitar sound. Top class !Wonderful vocals and beautiful music that you have played. I always liked The Monkees and always bought their records. Brilliant work.Great song .....Your version is so amazing. Excellent vocals and vocal presentation Magnificent music you have played. That little dog is so beautiful in your picture.51,787 views
getting to know and work with some of these guys has been what I reckon any of this is or should be about - we came across Richard (BDR) several years ago - he's a highly skilled musician who is widely known. He and his mate at the time Matt Kirschner (who quite simply is one of the best guitarists we've ever encountered and has a studio to go with that) had a virtual band happening - they decided to do this and Matt shared an mp3 copy with me asking what I thought...and I was like...what I think....? I thought this is solid gold mate, it's sheer brilliance (I can honestly say it's the best cover version I've heard of it, Metallica and Thin Lizzy included) - guys like Matt and BDR (and Mike D) were and are rock and roll outlaws - hope they're all doing well and enjoying the music still!
