new synth-pop music about the craziness of the excess from that of people within the arts industry...people are dying in wars but hey, let's dress like fools and be seen at that next loopy gala...

...some people get by with a little understanding, some people get by with a whole lot more...

think back to 1987 when Pseudo Echo got this cover of theirs on the Revenge of the Nerds movie soundtrack and if we don't think we've lost something special then we're crazy...and if we think that era is coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools...

Brian Canham is the lead singer of Pseudo Echo and one of the nicest and coolest guys in Aus rock and roll - his idea to take Lipps Inc's disco hit and turn it into a complete rock out earnt him the number 6 position on the Billboard US Hot 100 Chart in 1987. Sometimes, rock and roll dreams come true...very cool band!

photos featured, south east Queensland on dusk and south east Asia (Michelin star restaurant) - Part of Australia feels the wash of Asia across it, WA and the Territory (especially Darwin) yet all else is Oceania with that whole Coral Sea buzz, colonial architecture and more than a liberal dash of UK and European early influences...

Story behind the song
new synth charged song which have tried for wall of sound mix so as to bring awareness to the inequitable nature of the world at present - those who support the arts should fully understand the suffering in the world...they should be more in tune with the plight of underprivileged more than any other organisation or industry on the planet...why, because they are supposed to be in touch with their emotions and if these folk don't have empathy then we really are in a tremendous amount of trouble...timmy and kylie in orange jumpsuits and matching man-bag to promote a movie....pleeeeeeease, enough! the lyric I use, 'so no one noticed anything about you' is a plea to the universe to see a future where the onus is on the deprioritising of vacuous celebrities as folk we should admire or aspire to being...enough! cosmetic line makes billions, yeah...right...sure.
Lyrics
I believe So no one noticed anything about you Oh yeah They’d like to see you Maybe even be with you Take a change of heart Make for a new start Climbin’ up the wall Just to take a fall Not sure it’s the new you But who knew the real you I believe So no one noticed anything about you Oh yeah So take a new approach Look to be a perfect host Diggin’ your own grave Not a lot to say Not sure it’s the new you But who knew the real you I believe So no one noticed anything about you Oh yeah Oh yeah Oh yeah They’d like to know you Maybe even try and copy you Take an honest oath Try your best to cope Tryin’ out for the team It isn’t what it seems Not sure it’s the new you But who knew the real you I believe So no one noticed anything about you Oh yeah

Great opening. Now you definitely don’t sugarcoat things. A long known fact celebrities are famous and have rules for thee but not for me. Another 80s style mix. Very creative again. Good work.

Great synth 80's vibe, very well produced & performed. Excellent lyrics & often very true, but also worth noting that some of those ppl are not ego maniacs but astute business people who know how to market things so that they make enough money to support lots of charities. 1 in particular you mentioned has given millions to very good causes & uses her brand to create money for disaster funds, surgery for kids & funerals for the needy. Life is a two-edged sword & things are not always what they seem.

This is a Hell Yeah and a great sounding track, Greg. When I first saw the title it reminded me of a song by Georgie Fame called "Yeah Yeah".
