Music for the less than gifted
I have been trying to write some new stuff but I realized this week, time gets in the way. Not the amount of time, the passing of time. Over the years I have written hundreds of songs. Most probably not very good or at least not what others want to hear. That’s just how it is. I’ve never said I was a good musician and neither has anyone else. But I do try. It’s simply after so many years, although one barely notices, things change. You get old. It was coming all along but no one warned me my body would start to break down, my memory would get flawed and my spirit would settle for the most mundane of pleasures. Watching a plant grow or napping with the cat has become the joy I feel. It’s not sad, trust me, it’s an inevitability that you embrace because you have no choice. That doesn’t mean I have stopped trying. I have revisited many songs with hopes of redoing them and bettering them and I still write. But for all true purpose, I am done with what I once loved and cherished. thanks

Thanks to everyone who has posted comments. Im slow to get back to you all, but I do appreciate the feedback. Lots of new songs on the way. Covid has been extremely helpful in some ways. Typical me to find the positive in something so screwed up. I need to visit all your songs as well. Keep on keeping on

Could you listen to my song...Got To Escape...it's the top of the list on my Major Snagg music page. I'll return and listen to more of your songs tomorrow.
