It’s got a backbeat you can’t lose it any old time you use it, gotta be funk fusion music if you wanna groove with Keith!

oooooh yeah, subtle yet rich in nuanced sounds and headphone nirvana - what a measured and wonderful piece of funkiness, nice cool break there btw with the keys and guitar...groove on for '26!

Also, this metaphor is used by so many workplaces, organisations, committees, gov departments, social activities, knitting circles, glee clubs, amateur theatre groups, PTA’s, church groups, dance offs, meals on wheels, market stall holders, trivia night functions and almost anywhere humans enter the fray…but I think that was the point of the title…lol 😂

Love it. I just posted a jazzy flavored version of this song. But this is true jazz. I call mine Brit jazz because not really jazz. Love those lines on the sax This is really good Keith.

A great trip down memory lane. I remember John Noakes & Shep & that famous phrase "get down Shep!". Nice work on the sax!

intro is worth price of admission alone but then it just gets better and better - you've put me onto a genre I knew very little about and since listening to your work I've researched to the point that I know Larry Coryell once said, 'we loved Miles, but we loved the Stones as well' and in '67 we saw the two worlds collide - Keith, your musicianship is exemplary and your love of all things music so evident in every new composition, - this is a great piece mate, brilliant!

Santa never listens to anything other than funk fusion jazz rock, it's always on at the workshop and he considers trad carols overrated, lol - funk fusion jazz rock, should be more of it, great stuff mate!

A very motivating song, Keith. Very uplifting melodies. It is quite compelling. Magnificent Jazz Horns you have played. Great soundwork, as well. Your song structure is amazing.
