This song could apply to so many situations in the world, so a lot of ppl will relate to it. It captures the sadness & the despair when innocent ppl suffer the consequences of other ppl's actions (whatever side you are on) - the music depicts that perfectly. I never comment on specific situations, but as observers of human behaviour, musicians can illustrate the devastating outcomes very well. Very poignant & soulful work.

Beautiful song guys with your signature sound. You both create some excellent music. Enjoyed lots.
If Dire Straits played heavy rock, this could have been one of theirs. The guitar in the verse has some of that vibe. But it is also a definite DOOMTRAIN piece, especially the last part is brilliant and typical of you. The lyrics are first class, the poetic way of setting words to music. The overall feeling is desperate and a worn out tiredness. The sentence "YOU'VE ONLY GOT TO READ THE SIGNS" may point to a way out though?
