Story behind the song
When I gave birth to my first daughter, I did not know Jesus. How, then, did I lay in bed that night, in and out of consciousness from the medications after an emergency C-section, thanking "Jesus" for her being healthy because I had been so unhealthy--drinking, drug-using, smoking, & partying relentlessly for years before her birth?? I never wanted children. I never knew what I wanted to do with my life. Jesus gave me an Angel, and soon after a Princess. I knew immediately that what I was meant to do was being a mom--a Godly mom. I am so grateful. Hopefully, this is also an uplifting song of hope & encouragement for ALL the sweet "Angels & Princesses" in the world:).
