songs like these are stories and stories have kept the world spinning for a very long time...
country rock guitar ramsey
some people get by with a little understanding, some people get by with a whole lot more..
think back to when the Monkees were riding high in the charts with such great songs as 'Daydream Believer' and 'Last Train to Clarksville' and how the world seemed less complicated and more focussed on serious issues as opposed to Tik Tok or Instagram and if we don't think we've lost something we're crazy...but if we think it's coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools...ok, Christmas salutations from myself, Jill, Louie the wonder dog and cha-cha the kitty kat, everyone else has left us now, lol - empty nesters...haha! can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days.. in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout as they sang the blues, let it all hang out.. rock and roll...

Story behind the song
working with the fellas in North America adds another dimension to the songs for sure but when said and done it's still rock and roll to me, lol - so regardless of it being a country song, a synth song, an eighties goth number or an industrial thrash rock out track it's all enjoyable to be part of a greater unit whereby everyone's contributions enable the end product, dig Gary, dig Rick, dig John and dig Bruce!
Lyrics
What about the time That she knew me well I can’t understand that spell She had me in No no no And all the times I took to think about it I didn’t know what day it was I didn’t go ahead and shout it I couldn’t see what was in front of me oh yeah I always known you’d come back to me oh yeah I always known that you’d come back top me Did you hear the lies? She told to me I can’t understand a thing She needed to say No no no And all the times I took to think about it I didn’t know what day it was I didn’t go ahead and shout it I couldn’t see what was in front of me oh yeah I always known you’d come back to me oh yeah Come on back to me now babe I always known that you’d come back to me I didn’t go ahead and shout it I can’t understand a thing about it

You have all done a smashing job on this Greg. Story telling through music. What it’s all about. Digging you all.
