I am a self taught hobbyist. I prefer that term over musician as I know some musicians and I am not one. I enjoy listening, playing and composing/producing music. It has been a great release for me and I have learned that anyone that has music in their life is not ever alone. It is a gift that I am glad I stumbled onto. I regret that I did not start playing an instrument when I was young rather than picking up a guitar when I was in college. I have been a Computer professional my whole life designing/programming software and I have always enjoyed my work because of the creative outlet it offers and that is the same thing I enjoy about music. I have made many friends through the years on sound click and I have enjoyed the whole process from listening to others music to offering and receiving tips/critiques and on some special occasions being able to collaborate with someone half the way around the world. What a game changer the internet is for all of us. And I will warn you ahead of time my musical tastes tilt heavily to the BRIT POP sound. As Eric Carmen once said I am in a rock n Roll time warp "NOT" trying to find a way to get out.

Thanks so much for listening to Stranger in my Garden. Lyrics were written first. They say write about what you know & it came about after a close relative had let the family down. I suppose I wanted the music to convey that uneasy feeling you get when realization that all is not well creeps up on you & destroys your sense of security. I wanted to paint a picture of that perfect "garden" being questioned & putting you off balance. Never did get my head around what happened, but at least I got a decent song out of the circumstances lol

lol, yeah well Clint Eastwood certainly pushed through a few limitations to go from a spaghetti western matinee actor to one of the best Directors the movies ever gave us - ‘Unforgiven’ is still my fave western of all time and Hackman does his best acting turn as the ‘it’s my town’ sherif…love that movie! ‘Gimme’ is def a great track, have loved that Lp all my adult life. Cheers mate!

Thanks for info on guitars . Will certainly check out Martins or the higher end Taylor’s like yours . I’ve just finished a Steve winwood track Can’t find my way home . Greg requested a Winwood track so have done the live version he did with Clapton at the crossroads event . Got Maizie on backing vocals . Insane amount of guitar on this one . There were four guitarists on stage ! Winwood is a very underrated guitar player but this proves he’s pretty damn good . Great keys player too . Will let you know when up . Cheers

Hi Tony . Just listened to your latest track and managed to leave messages on page . Still having problems posting on song pages but using predictive text to speed it up !
I’m looking for an upgrade on an acoustic this year probably going to be between Taylor , Martin and Upper end Yamaha . I see you use Taylor , which sounds great but what’s your impression overall ? The problem being most of the big music stores in Bristol , where I live have shut down so no opportunity to try any out , which I would normally do .
