a song I wrote with Rick with Bruce joining in with some really nice strings. I went for a mix of lush sound and a nostalgic tinge that should hopefully transport listener to a time some forty years ago.

some people get by with a little understanding, some people get by with a whole lot more..
think back to when Gary Numan wrote and recorded 'Cars' in 1979 and if we don't think we've lost something we're crazy...but if we think it's coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools... can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days.. in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout as they sang the blues, let it all hang out.. rock and roll..

Story behind the song
writing with Rick is such a great thing and really dig the result with this - good to have Bruce and Rick on this together as their talent is similar and immeasurable.
Lyrics
I look from your window As first light flickers Some shadows that hide Some buried in blame And I remember What I'd been thinking You were the one Who'd always call my name And this night lingers Surrenders to grey No more shadows Cast over your shame Yet I remember What I'd been thinking You'd be the one Who'd always call my name You always, you always You always were the one Who called my name Always, always Who always stayed the same Now I've been thinking I've been thinking It's now time Time to go home It's time, time to go
