Absolutely LUV this jazzy blues piece! - As, I first listened to it... I thought to myself "this kinda has the SILVER vibe." - Then when I came to leave a comment = I saw your descriptor saying this was a Horace Silver theme. - I must say... "an extroadinary piece, my friend!" - You totally expanded on the original. Adding so many different additional themes. - Totally loved the instrumentation on all played parts (guitars, drums, horn ensemble horns, etc. - Superbly DONE!***

Oh what a very classy jazz vibe ! Something I could never do . Reminds me of the late night jazz club programs on back in the day . Love the instrumentation especially the piano and percussion well and the trumpets ! Great jazz guitar too all very well played . Excellent production as per . Nice one Nige !

Hi Nigel, this is so 'cool'. l like Miles Davis, John Scofield, Soft Machine (when they went 'jazzy'), and all kinds of 'Jazz'. This has some nice trumpet lines in it. A very pleasant composition.
I've never come across Horace Silver before. I must investigate his music.
This recording of yours is brilliant. Top class sound and production ... as always.

Absolutely cracking version Nigel. And you have given it your own stamp which to me makes it even better. Horace along with Les McCann are my two fav funky jazz pianists of all time. 5 stars here. Amazing stuff. Well done on this.
