Hey Swamps! Interesting to hear what AI did, but if I'm totally honest, I much prefer the original. I feel the AI is destabilizing the mix. That panning, especially on a lead instrument, can make ppl feel a bit dizzy especially if listening on headphones! The whole mix is moving around too much & as a consequence it is also causing some other issues like making the bass a bit boomy & muddy. It's a great idea, but I think to pull it off without causing the destabilizing issues you'd have to apply it very specifically & with total control over all aspects such as the reverb wet/dry balance etc which would mean having access to every track in the mix. It would be a mammoth task to do it, so I think I would stay with the original.

And the AI software I’m talking about can change all the parts based on genre you want. I will try and find name and let you know

I have moises. I use that to get the real drums on covers when I do them. And I sing to the original as a template then I record all guitars and bass and leave myself with only moises drums, deleting all the other moises parts and leaving me doing everything but drums. As you know having a real drummer can make huge difference on a track. Ok there is some more sophisticated software that would create all the different instruments and vocals if you wanted them based on just a demo type track of chords. That was my understanding of it but not having used it I could be full of it. LOL. Thanks for the info.

I liked the other one you did, but yeah, I get what she was saying & having listened again would agree that less is more in this case. Sounds perfect now!

Just spinning your latest and top shelf all the way, Swamps! Stay safe down there...we got a balmy 4* F and up to 2 feet of snow by the time it ends on Tuesday morning. It's not a big nor'easter just fluff so should be okay.

Have a good weekend Swamps. Unusual for you to get that kind of weather! We get more of a mix here, around 38C in Summer, down to 10 below zero in Winter. Not too bad at present but raining constantly!
