This is a fabulous, if rather melancholy, 'Road Song' from an equally fabulous album...'Traffic & Weather', (2007) by Fountains Of Wayne. They were, and still are a band that I like very much. I'd like to dedicate this 'cover', to the memory of the late Adam Schlesinger. 1967 - 2020

Great road track David ! I know when I listen to your covers that it’s probably gonna be one I don’t know which is amazing as you introduce me to songs I would never have heard . Thanks for that . Love your guitar as per very well played . Your vocals are unique and fit perfectly love the sound effects and fade out ! Very cool.

I too am a fountains of Wayne fan such melodic stuff. You have done a fantastic cover. Excellent production and performance. Very impressive. My neighbor who was probably 16 at the time introduced me to this band as I was giving her some guitar lessons and she wanted to learn hey Julie and all I could think was what a quirky song. But I liked it. Again good cover !!!

When you told me you were gonna do this one... I went and heard theirs on YouTube... I think I like yours better. Theirs was very nice, but it sounded like they were covering it... now hearing your version, I'm quite convinced you wrote this. I won't hear otherwise...
