i am Steve Weyman from Bristol England and been playing guitar since I was 9 years of age and doing paid gigs in bands from age 14 playing covers and originals. I am a bit older ( quite a bit older now ! I am not gigging at the moment . I am teaching guitar and concentrating more on writing and recording in m y little home studio. Don't write in a particular style, it comes out how it comes out !

Story behind the song
a song sung by Eric Carman from the Film "Dirty Dancing". I recorded it for a friend who had it as his wedding song . out of my comfort zone. but really enjoyed putting all th keys/ synth layers together with layers of guitar to make that big sound. I ain't no Eric Carman but i'm sure my friend will appreciate the effort !

What a very good cover, with a really first class production. The 'backing track', is nicely mixed...there's a lot going on there...so that's a pretty great achievement just on its own. Then there's your fabulous vocals. Wow. Enjoyed listening to this.

Great cover of the Eric Carmen classic Steve! I used to sing a couple Raspberries songs back in the days - girls loved these :) Cheers to the music!

Great cover ! Eric Carmen one of my personal favorites is a tough act to follow He was asked to do this and helped him spark a mini comeback in the 80s. Good work.

Fantastic cover! The production/mix is first class, I imagine this was deceptively difficult given the big sound & type of reverb - easy to overdo things but you've captured it perfectly. Superb vocals & instrumentation. Brilliant stuff!

Great version of this Steve. I like the bigness of the electric guitar rhythm and the fullness of the synth. Vocally everything is right there too as always. It's hard to believe how many years ago that movie came out and that Patrick Swayze is gone.
