and so what if we as a species cease to exist

some questions don't have answers and some answers don't need to be questioned...
synths beyond big question
some people get by with a little understanding, some people get by with a whole lot more..
think back to when Gary Numan wrote and recorded 'Cars' in 1979 and if we don't think we've lost something we're crazy...but if we think it's coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools... can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days.. in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout as they sang the blues, let it all hang out.. rock and roll..

Story behind the song
is time really running out..
Lyrics
ever watch a light go out flicker, stumble and surrender ever see a person go without stupid, vain and ever a vendor and what if we as a species cease to exist and if so, I wonder what would really be missed other than a feeling of what was that all about other than a sense of deja vu, twist and shout other than one hell of a ride as it brakes and ends other than something no one seems to comprehend at a time when time seems to be running out ...running out

Haunting music that very aptly fits the lyrical theme! I often think that, one way or another, man will make himself extinct, humans seem to be quite self-destructive. Great lyrics with ethereal & atmospheric music that immediately makes us stop and think. Very skillfully conveyed and performed. Superb job!

G'day Greg, I can fully understand the David Bowie link in this song. It's as if you're singing this as his Thomas Newton character in the fabulous movie, The Man Who fell to Earth. This is other worldly and atmospheric. A very good idea carried out so well. Excellent stuff.

This is a question often pondered and your lyrics explore the question well. We are as a species very arrogant and self centered. Very good original performance and question.
