How sweet is that for both the Yankees AND the Dodgers. Oh well, Beantown is still number 1. I've always dreamed of playing baseball. What I wouldn't give to be a DH for just one inning. The days are really flying by. I can't believe it's the middle of January already. Additionally, I can't believe how warm it is for this time of year. Now, I know there are a lot of theories out there about global warming and climate change and whether or not we as humans have a role to play, but I ACTUALLY KNOW EXACTLY WHY THIS IS HAPPENING. On May 15th, 2004, all of the planets in the solar system were aligned. Now, compared with the sun, none of the planets in the solar system really have that much gravitational pull. When they are all aligned, however, it's quite a different story. On that day and for several weeks prior to that day, there were cataclysmic events all thoughout the world. (The earthquake in Bam, Iran; The tsunami in the Indian Ocean; Hurricaine Katrina; Floods; You name it...) Until the earth reaches equalibrium from this astronomical event, there are going to be some drastic fluctuations in winds, precipitation, jet stream patterns, and geothermal activity. Even though the outer planets like Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus are no longer adding eccentricity on our orbit and slowing the rotation of our crust and mantle, the inner planets are still in close range and affect these aspects of our planet's solar identity.
