Alternative Metal & Blues with a soulish voice It's some years now that our bass player left us and we didn't find any adequate substitute - so everything has to come to an end. I (aka bunkerhead, the former lead guitar player) now maintain this page merely for my own purpose, to upload my home studio recordings.
Well, its just me: Wolfini! Hi! This is about my one-person-recording project. After the break-up of my band two years ago, I still feel the urge to write, play and record music, but lack the time for practice etc. to play in a band again. So I write my music, and do my home-recording, and present it here for the world to hear, judge and blame me.
Always improvisational with more than a few dashes of Humor thrown in. Sometimes Socio-political and usually philosophical. A generous mix of experimental, blue John 'Jahn' Cook and Michael 'Punslinger' Honsinger started playing together in Bellingham Washington circa 1980, focusing mainly on Improvisation and humor. They now live half a continent away from each other but are currently involved in new collaborations!

CARVIN NOMAD SOUND CLIPS The sound clips on this page were made using my Gibson Les Paul Faded model with stock alnico pickups. The Nomad is stock and has not been modified in any way. I am using the stock tubes with the exception of a Mullard 4024 in the V1 slot and a Sovtek 5751 in the V2 slot. Everything else is standard Sovtek issue. The clips were recorded using a Shure SM57 microphone that was placed about 2 inches away from the center of the speaker. I hope you enjoy the tones.
