Canterbury is a very relaxed chilled out town/city, it's a far cry from the previous places i've lived :)
Even the tramps say 'please' & 'Thankyou', and the students keep it lively enough to make it interesting(highest ratio of students to the residents in the uk.).
I listened to 'Change' the vocal version. Lovely guitar sound and intro, and i like the harmonies in the verse.The vocal melody slots really well into the song... you both seem to have a great knack for creating great melodies, the song has a nice laidback folky sound to it.
I really like the 'we change' break bit, especially the first one with just the guitar & not with the harmonies, it gave it a lovely sweet feeling, and a rest from the vocals. I'm not saying your harmonies are bad, because i think they're bloody good, but i do feel too much of the harmonies makes the song a bit too sugary and sickly, where the first break with just the guitar really served a purpose in resting the ears in a pleasant wa

Hi there,
Just got a new song on if you have time to check it out. It's a collaboration with David Valcich from the US. It's called Requiem Eternam. I'm the vocals, guitars, choirs, flute and David created the electronic base track (which was truly inspired stuff). The song tells about a changed life....... give it a go if you have a chance. thanks for your comments, and i like 'change' :)
Hope you're liking Sc, it's a useful place for crits but most of all advice, the thing is to get to know the people here, some are quite experianced as musicians and have alot of good free advice.
Though some are evil and will lead you to the path of damnation... i like the latter but hey... we're all different :S
