A wonderful drifting, dream-like quality, but hangs together really well with gentle guitar accompaniment. Great production Derek

Sounds deceptively simple, but very touching and effective. Loved the little contrasting section in the middle. I could see the twinkle in Sad Paddy's eye. Derek ps another one for the Kiwi Station.

(interesting mix) "Time To Play" lol... funny lyrics simon.. (not sure why i find it funny, i guess it's the jazzy voice "do.. dodod.." lol good stuff.. neways, i'm crawling back under my rock now =)

Simon, It's been a very long time! I have just downloaded most of your songs. Too much crying...time to play...tapestry...counterparts (really loved that one!) You are brilliant, Simon. What a beautiful soul you have. Love, Beth

Hey Simon - Just wanted to jump over the wall and say "hi" on this side of the fence! Been playing along with and pseudo-jamming, if you will, to your music. I love "Tapestry", not just because of the music, but the lyrics are sublime. And you don't even use the word G-d. I was able to quickly pick up on the chords of "Too Much Crying", but was struggling with the rhythmic groove; couldn't understand it cause that's usually not a problem. I then just listened closely without playing and realized you composed it with 7 beats per measure. And I didn't notice anything was unusual until I started playing. How very clever and eclectic! I hate to be gushing so much, but otherwise I'd honestly be lying!! I tried playing along with "One Note Song", but my brain was pretty fried by then. I did notice you sure can build a LOT of chords around the note "C". I'll tackle that one another time. Cheers, Horace ________________________

P.S. I see my website is up but the song I uploaded is not there. Either it takes a little more time or I screwed it up somehow. Would you know how to link the soundclick site to the muse's muse?

Listened to "Learning to Breathe" Another great song! Beautiful, inspired, fresh chord changes, thoughtful lyrics - I kind see the Mandelrot Set in them. And so totally different from "Too Much Crying".
