Playing and recording this was great fun, so simple yet so full of energy. And all about mom's washing machine ;)

This is my personal tribute to Dave Brock and Hawkwind. For me this song sequence from Warrior on the Edge of Time is undoubtable their finest Anthem.

Hi Feet, sorry for the late reply.
Glad you enjoyed Assault/Golden Void. I hope to do more in the future.
All best
Chris
Im a big fan of hawkwind and dave brock and I'm surprisd how faithfully you have tried to reproduce there work. Pretty good in most areas if a bit lame sounding when it comes to the powerful synth and horn weirdness they used to be able to conjure up in there acid affected world. Listening to Warriors onthe edge of time stuff made me want to dust of my old albums for another listen. Cool
Hi Dimaension x
Nice to hear from you.
Yes I have to agree Hawkwind is a phenomenon which is difficult to explain. When I heard some of the simple riffs from Space Ritual for the first time back in '76, when I was 15, I went out and bought an old guitar. Within a few minutes I felt I was rewarded with being able to play something that was cool and fun. 25 years on I am still building on this, kind of like the guy in close encounters of the third kind kind who is trying to get to that mountain monolith!
Hey Paul, Thanks for nice comments. Wasnt easy hitting those high notes that Dave Brock does so well. I could have transposed it, but wanted to keep the sound of the original, well as best as I could anyways.
All best
Chris
