Originally formed in Juneau, Alaska in 2003 to demolish a Battle of the Bands competition, Treadwell evolved into a cohesive unit that draws on its roots of rugged rock, hip/hop, strong melody and power groove. After taking as much prize money as we could carry, gigging locally for several months, doing a small state tour to spread the word, and recording a tight EP, Treadwell relocated to San Francisco.... maybe the sun, maybe the surf, maybe the scene, we acquired the bass player required to bring the thunder and lay down the groove. It is time, check us out.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
We live to play live. The crowd and energy makes us come alive. While having dancing women on stage has been nice, playing outdoor shows with your audience sitting on WWII tank remnants kicks ass, and getting flown out to play at the best surf sight in Alaska for Fairweather was great, the best was probably playing an impromptu for 4 customers while we were tearing down the gear after a LONG 2 night show in Haines, Ak at lunchtime took the cake....Go, they bought us a lot of tequilla for two songs.
