Originally formed in Juneau, Alaska in 2003 to demolish a Battle of the Bands competition, Treadwell evolved into a cohesive unit that draws on its roots of rugged rock, hip/hop, strong melody and power groove. After taking as much prize money as we could carry, gigging locally for several months, doing a small state tour to spread the word, and recording a tight EP, Treadwell relocated to San Francisco.... maybe the sun, maybe the surf, maybe the scene, we acquired the bass player required to bring the thunder and lay down the groove.
