Stranded In Ohio Stranded In Ohio
Title track from the new CD ""Songs From the County Jail".
Crossroads Crossroads
An upbeat blues/rock tune of hope about a bluesman, his guitar and his woman.....
West Virginia's Hardest Working, All Out, Rock The House, Blues BandHave you performed in front of an audience?Yes we play out live. I love to play out live ...... I love motivating an audience. They're premise for coming in the 1st place is to have fun so guiding them during the show is a requirement. They want to see and hear something that is going to inspire them. If I could I'd play out every night.... When we're not booked I go out to jams here in town if I can and play with my friends. The best moment was the last RibFest gig opening for Highway 101. My brother Steve played drums with me for the 1st time publicly..... He got serious about music a few years ago, quit playing, and started a sound company. He makes more than anybody in the band now.... (ha) It all started when we were in 7th grade so why should it stop now....? It just keeps gettin better the longer you stay in........
Your musical influences
Rick Derringer, Tommy Bolin, Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, B.B.King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and mostly Steve Marriott. I was and am still influenced greatly by Steve Marriott. What a great entertainer..... The guy was just great on stage..... an amazing sight to behold.... I saw him during the Humble Pie Farewell Tour in the '70's. I saw Rick Derringer for the 1st time during that period also. He was playing an original 1958 Explorer V head prototype and just ooozed rock attitude. Very inspirational and he rocks harder today I think. He gets better everytime I see him anyway......What equipment do you use?
