Story behind the song
My brother called me while I was living in Madison Wisconsin and asked me to write a song about a crossroads. Here it is. The original was all acoustic using a guitar case for a bass drum (ha).
Lyrics
Here we go, I've been wandering, thru this life, My path was never true, Found myself at the Crossroads, when I laid eyes on you, and I wonder, where I'm going, 'cause I sure know where I've been, Walk these Crossroads with me baby 'cause I don't want to go there again And I'm walkin' over these Crossroads again Well I used to think that life was cruel, Fate dealt me a losin' hand, Then I found you at the Crossroads and you took a hold of my hand, We won't see any trouble, This guitar will sing loud and true, We're gonna make somethin' outa this life, Baby just me and you 'cause we're walkin' over these Crossroads again.... Let's walk the dog for a while.......
