hello! Thanks for visiting my page and my music, I hope you enjoy! (I'm aware that the quality of some of the songs themselves are below par but the recent stuff is much better!)
Band/artist history
I first learned to sing in a rock band called Ultimate Issues. Vocally I was very new and untrained, but I did what Alice in Chains front man Layne Staley had done, (who at the time was an idol) which was to sing loudly to a stereo song, which was useful! Ultimate Issues - which at a later point was renamed 'Underneath Red - was a great opportunity for me; if I hadn't been asked to sing in the band then, I would never have appreciated music remotely as much as I do now. As time went on with the band, I became interested in learning guitar. Christmas came around and I was blessed with a encore classical acoustic to start practicing. Eventually I tried my hand at writing songs, with little lasting success in the beginning. Underneath Red was becoming successful and got round to playing a good few gigs, and we were all having a great time. With my new skill of being able to play guitar, I progressed and wrote 'Wasp' and 'Fly Away' for the band, which went down well and were included on the CD we had recorded at the time called 'Better Red Then Dead'. Between the days of Underneath Red, a good friend of mine who was the drummer of Underneath Red formed an acoustic band under the original title of Ultimate Issues. Ultimate Issues was mildly successful, we created around nine songs. Outside of practices though, I think we both were making our own music, and were starting to go our own ways. We performed a gig at our school which held small music performances called Flintfest with a friend who is in a solo band of his own called His Flying Machine. We wrote a song called 'Two More Weeks' which went down well. As Underneath Red went through the years however, our music tastes changed and we all realised that each of our genre was too different to continue the band realistically. So Underneath Red disbanded. Some of the band went to form another band called Pitch 8th Century who later became The Red Light City and from then I decided to go solo. My first official song was Puppet which I was over the moon with, then as the months went by, I created other songs and realized that I very much enjoyed going solo, and particularly being a recording artist. As time went on, I wrote more frequently, and put as much hours as I could into music. Years later as I get more life experience under my belt, my songs become deeper and capture a periods of time.
