The Famous Dead Rappers are back from the DEAD....Again. 666 looped beats of Crypt-Hop that don't stop like a body flopping without a head. Double G, Da Gremlin, X-Ray Jonez, the MOZ, the Supa Honky Gangsta and DJ Corpse have come from the "Darkside" to take over the underground.
It started when 5 mc's (white boyz with no skillz) were riding home one night after a show. They were involved in a bloody, brutal car accident. All 5 were killed, but their spirits were taken to the "Darkside". There in the "Darkside" the souls of their twisted bodies hung. They were tied to the "Tree of Woe" for 7 days and then "The Lady With One Eye" appeared, she drew the "Golden Spike" and smitted each one.
After this long ordeal they no longer remembered their first lives. The "Lady" had set them free, but the torture as well as the evilness they saw while hanging on the "Tree of Woe" forever left them with "The Mark of the Beast".
They were sent back from the dead to the present day. Their mission is secret, yet they warn those of what they've seen. They also feed on the ignorant of society.
After tearing up the underground for two years with the classic albums "Back From the Dead...Again" and "Serve in Hell, Reign on Earth" the FDR needed to go back to "The Darkside" to charge up.
Now they are ready for their demonic return, is the world?
Do you ever walk by a cemetery and hear strange sounds? Things that go bump in the night? Ya feel the hairs standing on the back of ya neck?
Most of the band history was stated above.
In early 1999 some kids were playing in an abandoned house and stumbled across one of the most bizzar finds of this century. Under a pile of dead cats they found a bag containing the mysterious recordings of the FDR. Somehow these recordings found there way into the hands of the freaks at StaticMojo-106. They released two classic albums "Back From the Dead...Again" and "Serve in Hell, Reign on Earth". These albums were distributed through the underground scene to high spread praise.
Since then the FDR has joined force with StaticMojo to represent the true essence of music.
The Moz puts down the beats and then the "Rhetoric" is lashed out on the mic. Their style is called Crypt-Hop. It's a blend of a little techno, some trip-hop and blues. It's not what you're use to hearing on the radio. Lo-Pro, Lo-Fi all the time.
After these albums the FDR headed back to the "Tree of Woe" for counsel from the "One Eyed Lady". Since then the Supa Honky Gangsta has released his own undercover, Black-Ops. joint "Tales From the Tree of Woe". It's a more "punkish" version of Crypt-Hop.[See the Supa Honky Gangsta on Soundclick]
