This hardworking Northwest band formed in 1989 performs regularly at popular Taverns and Clubs, as well as Regional Festivals. From a wide variety of music styles this quartet of talented musicians will delight and amaze.
Band/artist history
The Delta Rays formed in 1989 with the current members of the group and have been performing for more than 12 twelve years. The Delta Rays perform original music written by the Violin player, (Peter Evasick), and the Keyboard/Accordionist (George Radebaugh). All compositions are danceable by design and yet provide a satisfying listening experience. The group, through their commitment to live performance and innovation have delighted audiences as diverse as the Annual Northwest Wooden Boat festival, The Olympic Jazz Society, Microsoft and British Airways corporate dinner parties to The Northwest Enviromental Education Association and many, many others. Taverns and Clubs are our regular venues where we play for the dance crowd. We also play many weddings and private parties. We enjoy the variety of venues we play and we believe patrons always have a good time both listening and dancing to our music. The band is very flexible sometimes playing in an acoustic configuration to all electric dance. The music and instrumentation we choose to play at various functions is always carefully thought out and appropriate to the situation and the location indoors or out, formal or informal. Our reptitoire is extensive and complex, our audiences always enjoy the variety. We carry a minimum of 4 hours worth of music in our current song lists and will travel throughout the US as well as Internationally. Let The Delta Rays make your next event a party to remember
