Band/artist history

Artist Biography:

SusieCool, (Susan Foster-Trewick) songwriter, started out writing at age 12 on the piano. Then she learned guitar at 15. She played in a band named "Best Forgotten" in Aberdeen Scotland while in college. (Mostly covers of Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens). Played in a band named PEP and WOW in Jamaica for a few years in the mid 80's. (Mostly top 40 and Reggae). Visited Cayman and Cuba. Also WOW was employed by a Jamaican theatre group, "Sistren" to tour Britain and Holland in 1986, and Canada and USA in 1987. (Two 7-week tours). She kept writing songs, and played a few convention gigs with Island bands in Orlando Florida in the early 90's. Started playing open mics in orlando in 1999, and contributed to the open mic scene as a publicist. Recorded and produced a few CD's at the beginning of the new millenium.

Have you performed in front of an audience?

Yes. I love playing live. I used to play a lot of open mics. My special moment was the last show at Leu Gardens. We had a great sound man (Gary Groves), and a very appreciative audience.

Your musical influences

Joni Mitchell, Eagles, Bread, Cat Stevens, Beatles, Jimmy Buffet, Carole King, Elton John, Bob Marley.

Anything else?

I have over 400 of my songs recorded in some shape or form, with more than 100 others waiting in the wings for recording. (I am working on it!!) I would love to find artists who like them enough to record them and make me famous!! LOL
