The smartest dumb band in the land, STRANGE ORANGE TONGUE's devious, unique samples, throbbing bass, and lowest-common denominator-partying proves their songs are truly party-porn music at its finest...

NEW YORK, Jan. 13 /PRMNewswire/ -- RioWorldClass performing artists, Strange Orange Tongue has further stoked the fires of political controversy by creating "Fat Bitches (I like)" underground video. The song is the band's masterfully moody "party-porn music", from their critically-acclaimed album "Silver Dollar Nips" LP released at the end of 2004.

The video, which has attracted unprecedented online traffic since its release last fall, assembles stock and news footage into a powerfully confrontational statement on the current social and sexual climate. The video takes the provocation one step further by featuring an extended "Rufus Callahan" movie-video that features "Fat Bitches" to elaborate on the imagery and lyrics of fictional character Rufus Callahan. Rufus Callahan's movie is about a vicious night of bravery while going to a local club.

Despite a few complaints about the song's lyrics, "Fat Bitches (I Love)", has been getting rave reviews by the public.

BRUSSELS, Dec. 20 /BBC East - Bellshire/ -- Strange Orange Tongue, the American shock group that sold out on their debut LP -- literally from the back of a van -- over several thousand copies of its debut release LP "Silver Dollar Nips", has just announced the release date for its upcoming full length debut album "Party Porn Music." The album, due out on February 17, 2005, will be released by Rio World Class, the coveted boutique label owned by ASI International and led by respected industry veteran Mordecai. Rio World Class will handle traditional CD sales and promotions for the trio, headed by the charismatic lead singer, Nick Rio.

The deals cement Strange Orange Tongues' on-the-street reputation as "the next big thing outta underground U.S.," as described by the Brussel's medium Daily Music News. In addition to robust sales, the band's first single "Gettin' High" earned Strange Orange Tongue a MotionMusic endorsement and plaudits in Spectrum Magazine, motionmusic.com,

and soundxenergy.com -- all without a label backing them up.

"Party Porn Music," the band's first album, is self produced by the trio which consists of Nick Rio, Mordecai, and Coffee Butter. Said one pre-release critic, "'Party Porn Music' is a feast of intimate, honest but shocking lyrics, unforgettable solo and harmony vocals, and music that can veer in a heartbeat and get a crowd laughing and dancing." If all the radio play is significant to European labels, then surely the groups native U.S. will follow. http://www.secretlight.com

Band/artist history

Nick Rio -

"...Nick Rio's story is fuzzy like the warm comfort of a blanket and yet also fuzzy and invisible to understand. Rio was born in an unknown location off the coast of Lake Michigan in northeast Wisconsin. He claims this to be the origin of several life changing experiences and the wave-calming nickname "Paz" which means peace in Spanish. Little is known about this artist except for the following: Has cheated death numerous times, has a music addiction, has dated some of Hollywood, NYC, Paris's hottest leading females, claims to have met a guardian angel and been stalked by a "watcher" (but is not religious), plays nearly every instrument on the planet, has seen a UFO, has written 3 books, won several academic awards, is an internet entrepreneur, and sleeps based on 90 minute sleeping cycles. Nick Rio is better known under his professional poet alias, Sans Raffelchopper. Rio, or Sans, or Paz, or The Doctor, can be found at every major beach in the world at what seems to be the same time. As a publication reports Rio on a yacht in their country, another publication in an other country claims they've seen him mixed in with the locals at a flea market. Is it really him? Does he have a clone? How come no one can get a clean picture? I feel left out Rio if you're out there. Please do another interview! Who is this mysteriously sexy man? No one knows because he says he won't do any interviews this year. He said that his schedule is decided for the next 720 years and this year doesn't have the required time for interviews. He did email us a photo of him setting the clock that he's keeping time on. It's an elaborate Aztec clock for keeping time in sync - the Aztec's keep track of time with this and believed that they were actually creating a realm of time. It requires the owner to move intricate polished gems and stones from one compartment to the next, and it takes a reported 12 hours a day to do it. Rio said to me via email, 'Do you want to know why I do this? I only accomplish one thing while I set the clock each day. It's meaning is paramount to the success of keeping time...and that's all I will say.' Rio, I figured out what you meant. The one thing that you accomplish is keeping time right? It was a trick question. Rio, one more interview please? We want to know more!" --Sarah Beckman - Lancaster Daily, January 4th, 2005--

Mordecai !!! -

"Mordecai was born into the Mississippi Valley where he wrote about the sore meaning of life in the popular article, "Survival Drinking In the World's Farm Implement Capital of the World". At 20 years of age, he moved to Denver Colorado to start a strip club and massage parlor. When that dreamed failed to materialize after breaking it off with longtime sweetheart Yvonne Kersher of sultry Spanish Television Program "Morbido E Bagnato" [SOFT AND WET], he was rumored to have become a mountain hermit. While in the mountains he deprived himself of all noises by wearing ear plugs 24 hours a day. He also began his monumental cliff wall carving known as "Dick Rock", which was later destroyed by a mountain casino developer. At age 24, he returned to Denver and purportedly financed his first recording from gold he had panned out of Clear Creek Springs. He claims that harvesting spiders is the next big business as silk industry demand has dimished fulfillment of over 12,000% last year. "If music doesn't work out, I know where to find gold, and I've already harvested a great amount of strong spider silk through a process I developed at my ranch that is both safe for the spider and effective. I plan on entering the silk market in 2007 and dominating it." When asked if this was a 'tongue' in cheek remark, he responded "Do you kiss your husband with that strange orange tongue?" --Belinda Davis, Sobe PR Wire, Miami, January 13th, 2005 --

Coffee Butter -

"Coffee Butter has reportedly been kicked out of STRANGE ORANGE TONGUE over 12 times. "It's in the enthusiasm of our arguments that I get my best inspiration. Getting into a fist fight and shouting match with Rio and C has been frighteningly uplifting. I'm looking forward to meeting some beautiful Asian women. I find they are very open to sensual massage, which is what I pattern a lot of music after. The women are inspiration to me. Without sensual massage and elegant music, you can't get any lovin!" At one point, while vacationing for a bachelor party during spring break, he nearly died in a three current rip tide. When he returned home from Cancun, he made his first melodic masterpiece and a song about drowning - 'Gone'. Coffee Shop became a musical mastermind of melody. Rio and Mordecai call him the Blackout King because he has times where he blacks out. When he awakes, he has a musical creation period. "I find that the best melodies come to me in a coma state. If I could only figure out where these episodes come from, music could be called upon with great ease. In the mean time, I continue to take cold medicine and drink heavily." --Stacey Evers, Denver Music Mix Show, December 29th, 2004--
