My friends grandma left this long ass message on the answering machine...
Im just a dude who used to play in rock bands in and around the Atlanta area....now i just make stuff up and record it.Have you performed in front of an audience?Like I said Ive played live tons of times....but not so much any more.
What equipment do you use?
I play an american strat through a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 100 half stack. I dont use a bunch of gadgets because i end up spending too much time fucking with the buttons. Im a plug and play kinda guy. sometimes i do use a boss super overdrive and a crybaby though. Also i play a vintage Fender Precision bass. and i use whatever keyboards, drum machines, etc. that happen to be wherever im at.Anything else?
I am not a composer....i sit down at the studio and record something....if it comes out good, then cool, i have a song....if it sucks, i trash it. i make shit up right then and there. I also leave in the mistakes, because i think it sounds better and makes the music more "human"...(actually i really just dont give a shit and im too lazy to fuck with it)
