Story behind the song
I was in Atlanta in about '95 playing in a band called Naked Dawg. They were all out doing something and i was the only one home, sitting there watching tv, when all of a sudden the fucking phone rings. It was our bass players grandma. I figured she would leave, you know, the standard message but this fucking thing went on for what seemed like forever...I was like " Fuck", and was even staring at the machine. (this machine also happened to use standard cassette tapes) Anyway, I had my trusty 4 track and i thought to myself, " Im gona put some standard simple blues behind this shit, because I thought it would be cool, and I thought Jamie and his brother would dig it, so I did, and they dug it big time, especially when she died.
