I was a metal head in my pre-rave days, and was always a junkie for a stomping distorted guitar riff. I played guitar for 5 years and have always had a serious love and ear for music. I went to my first rave in '99 and haven't looked back since. Always being drawn to the heavier and faster side of music, I was immediately sucked in by the raw energy of Drum n Bass. It wasn't long before I had my decks and started playing lots. I spent ridiculous amounts of time behind those things until I started getting some recognition locally and began to get gigs. Only in the past year have I been getting into production. It has consumed me tho. I love it and plan to go to school for audio engineering and musical composition to refine my skillz. After I get out of school for musical composition and audio engineering I hope to have the skillz to storm the scene. As for right now, I can only figure stuff out for myself as I slowly get a handle on this addiction we call production.
I play out at raves and love the feeling I get from it. 100's of ppl all funkin' to my sound. What more can you ask for?!
Andy C, SKC, Kemal, Tech Itch, Baron, Sub Focus... The list goes on and on... The headz all know.
I use Reason 2.5 , Recycle, Soundforge. Also my turntables and mixer for cutting some samples.
