I started writing poetry as a kid, and I started writing songs to Hip-Hop in 1983 - I was 13. Run DMC were my idols then.
Curtis Mayfield's label signed me in 1991.
The Exceptional One was released in 1993, and I opened for Run DMC in 1994.
I disappeared from the game shortly thereafter.
Between 1993-1994 I performed at a lot of big venues, with a lot of big stars.
Prior to that I had performed around the DMV a lot as well, as a local celebrity.
