What is a stem / trackout file?
A Stem file is an audio file that contains a track split into several musical elements: A drums stem, a bassline stem, a harmony stem, and a lead stem for example.

Why would I need a stem / trackout file?
A trackout file gives you much better control. Imagine you rap over a beat and you realize the percussions take the focus away from your vocals. With a trackout file
you can simply tone down the percussion and the focus is now on the vocals. With a trackout file you have much more flexibility and a whole different level of control.
One day at Percy L. Julian school on the southside of Phoenix, Arizona, came about a trio of friends who put together a group for their class talent show. Out of that group emerged Babyslik. She was twelve years old at the time. During that summer of 2002, she decided to continue with her love for writing music. She was already into band playing flute and various drums. Over the years she picked up playing piano and guitar. She also started producing beats in order to have music to go along with her lyrics. In 2007, she moved to Cottonwood, Arizona where she linked up with Dee. Dee was a dynamic singer who persuaded her she should record her music. Little did Babyslik know, Dee was taking her to the studio of Gene Weed, producer for the legendary group The Carpenters. It was in that studio Babyslik recorded her first album entitled 'Babyslik'. Three more albums followed up : 'Just Me', 'Changes', and 'Different Approach'. Over those years Babyslik went on to work with many artists delivering lyrics along with production. Now in 2016, Babyslik is still spitting lyrics you will hear from no other artist due to her originality. Babyslik's production is also unlike any you will hear. Make sure to tune in for all the new music coming this year!
