Nearly 200 years ago, more then 300 men and women assembled in Seneca Falls, New York for the nation's first women's right convention. Organized by Elizabeth Cady, this meeting dealt with women's right especially political ones. Seven decades later women gained the right to vote with the 19th amendment. We choose to name our band Seneca Falls, as a tribute to those who fought for the rights we take advantage of today.
Raised in the New York Borough of Brooklyn, Seneca Falls is a female trio of dedicated musicians. Influenced by a broad range of bands: Anti-Flag to Queen, and Brand New to Rancid. Their sound is a clever mix of straight up rock, punk, and emo. Their melodic riffs, intense beats, and screeching vocals can be described as anything but cliché. Expect mp3s soon, and their debut ep later this year.Band/artist history
