Female Trio from Brooklyn, New York. Influences include Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Alkaline Trio, The Strokes, David Bowie, Queen, The Clash, Rancid, Nirvan
Nearly 200 years ago, more then 300 men and women assembled in Seneca Falls, New York for the nation's first women's right convention. Organized by Elizabeth Cady, this meeting dealt with women's right especially political ones. Seven decades later women gained the right to vote with the 19th amendment. We choose to name our band Seneca Falls, as a tribute to those who fought for the rights we take advantage of today. Raised in the New York Borough of Brooklyn, Seneca Falls is a female trio of dedicated musicians. Influenced by a broad range of bands: Anti-Flag to Queen, and Brand New to Rancid. Their sound is a clever mix of straight up rock, punk, and emo. Their melodic riffs, intense beats, and screeching vocals can be described as anything but cliché. Expect mp3s soon, and their debut ep later this year.

Lyrics
The Damsel in Distress Over the Knight of Shining Armor V1: Did you hear me screaming? All those words I've longed to say When I locked in all lamentations Succumbed to my own devastation V2: All those love poems I've written Stayed scattered within me filled with mixtures of morbid emotions--->I don't know how to shorten this line Infiltrated through childish dreams Chorus: You've been this faulty catch Hitting me between the eyes Been blinded by your fancy words That eased their way into my mind V3: I prayed to slip away My gratified invisibility To shield from vulnerability Of sinking into my affliction Chorus repeat Bridge: Your face is painted with apathy Adamant in its expression Felt like my heart's been splattered Spilled profusely on the ground Chorus repeat (C) 2005 Seneca Falls
