Indianapolis Rock!
Hailing out of Indianapolis, Indiana, the group consists of Eric L. Davis and John M. Phillips. No elaborate enhancements here--just good old fashioned rock music in it’s rawest form.
SEASONS OF ASH was officially formed in late 2003 when Eric L. Davis and John M. Phillips (both formerly of metal band Paradox44) decided to begin focusing seriously on some of the acoustic songs they had been toying with for several years. After releasing two songs they had written for Paradox44's album My Mind: The Weapon - She's Gone and What's Left Behind - both felt the need to continue to explore their love of softer and simpler music with a melodic edge.
Hailing out of Indianapolis, Indiana, the group consists entirely of Davis and Phillips at this time. No elaborate enhancements here--just good old fashioned rock music in it’s rawest form. Just listen for yourself...
Seasons of Ash released their first musical work, a six-song disc titled A Winter's Harvest EP in July of 2004. The duo plans to add a permanent drummer and bassist in the very near future. Extended plans include working with producer Bobby Burns of the band Soulfly, who will be featuring two of the group’s songs on his label’s upcoming sampler due out in the summer of 2005.
Seasons of Ash is:
Eric L. Davis - vocals, rhythm guitar, drums
John M. Phillips - lead guitar, bass
Yes. Anywhere we can. Playing live is better than sex. John and I both cut our teeth in a metal band called Paradox44, and traveling was always a blast. We're very fond of the stage.
Johnny Cash, Jimmi Hendrix, Jack Johnson, Faith No More, AC/DC, tons more.
We're looking for a good label to release our music.
