Three guys with mics and a love for music.
We're a podcast, and we love to play great independent music from around the world.
The original shwagcast. Accept no imitations!
Come for the music, but stick around for the government cheese.
Sleep. Eat. Listen. Repeat
We started hanging out in 1998.
Hundreds of Papa John's pizzas later, we started our own fight club of sorts.
Then, in 2005, the thought struck boB and I after I got my iPod.... hey, why don't we start a podcast?
Three weeks later, the Schwagcast was born.
Within a year, we added our third compatriot, Jerry Mallen, and now we are tree guys with tree pinions.
Kinda. We record the show live. In Phase One Studios in Binghamton, New York.
We like to play independent progressive rock as well as blues, acoustic, hip hop, funk, soul, and some electronica. If it has a beat and sounds crisp, you'll find it on the schwagcast.
Oftentimes misspeled as shwagcast or swagcast.... it doesn't matter, it's still the same podcast.
