I've been a Musician since my early teenage years. I started out wanting to be a guitar player and that was the first instrument that I owned. I switched to the bass after some friends and I wanted to put a band together and there was no one to play bass. My father was a well known musician in the area and had a band called the 'Dukes of Rhythm' and the bass player had an old bass he wasn't using and gave it to me. So, that was the start of my musical career.

This page features music from 'Sunburst', a band from Lexington, KY which was together from 1978-1980. Most of this music was recorded live onto a small cassette recorder in 1978 or '79. One cassette was found several years later on the floor of the sound booth, so a lot of the material had to be 'rescued' by painstaking audio processing.
