Here's That Rainy Day
I've been a Musician since my early teenage years. I started out wanting to be a guitar player and that was the first instrument that I owned. I switched to the bass after some friends and I wanted to put a band together and there was no one to play bass. My father was a well known musician in the area and had a band called the "Dukes of Rhythm" and the bass player had an old bass he wasn't using and gave it to me. So, that was the start of my musical career.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I stopped playing live about ten years ago. I have yet to play live as a keyboard player (still trying to get my chops together).
Your musical influences
The people and or groups that have left a lasting impression on me are Flora Purim, Michael Franks, Joe Sample and Chick Corea.
What equipment do you use?
I recently purchased a Presonus Audiobox USB interface along with the Presonus Studio One Artist recording software. I use a Roland RS9 as my controller. I also have a Korg Triton Extreme, JBL monitors, Audio Technica mic and some miscellaneous equipment.
