Hi there! I just now came across your version of "Canon" by way of a user (Not sure if you're one in the same) who added my version to their SC Station in addition to yours,& just that title attracted me to it! Very impressive version;quite a bit more faithful than mine, though my version is a bit unique if I do say so myself! I do mine in what I can only describe as a "Hard rock/heavy metal" mid tempo march style, featuring a driving ascending/descending Bass line,& 3 harmony Lead Guitars building to a crescendo finale of some major shredding ! May not be exactly to your taste, then again it might be! Check it out when you can & my other stuff (Mostly Instrumental rock,& some Acoustic stuff too);I'll definitely be checking out more of your stuff too, you've got quite a bit of talent!

As I said fairly recently in another musician's comment box, I am by no means a music elitist and have no truck with musicians who rock the classics. Pachelbel's Canon is one of my all-time faves, and this rendition is exquisite, and even though it takes a bit of license in order to provide a modern interpretation of an old melody, it still proves that beauty not only endures, but can even evolve. Five stars.

Yo, Steph here. Hey, guess what? You didn't play guitar on my crappy version. What you hear is ME on the DULCIMER!!! Sadly, I couldn't get you to include yourself in that particular recording, so it's all me :(

Symphony is FLOP. Because you didn't include the tearjerker finale. BTW, I listened to my own crappy version after not hearing it for many years recently, and I did, indeed, 'water that eye'. You could have included just that bit in your lyrics/comments thingie. -- Steph

Fancy fingerwork. It's difficult enough on a recorder, I don't know how you did it. Cheers! -- Steph
