Is True Is True
My 2nd rockabilly tune trying to emulate Carl Perkins and The Beatles using my Gretsch and an acoustic guitar.
No More Love No More Love
A song created with the intention of sounding like a 1960s rock group. Instruments: 12 string Rickenbacker CW 360, J160E Gibson acoustic, Gretsch Country Classic for guitar chink, and Fender Precision Bass.
She is Leaving Again She is Leaving Again
Gretsch Country Classic, 12 String Rickenbacker CW 360, Beatle bass, and Sonar. Trying to sound like The Byrds, however as usual------my lyrics suck.

Excellent. Has some surf music trappings.
Great production.
Fabulous 'Help' period Beatles sound and production. Love the guitar figure throughout and a perfect short solo. The drums are beautifully sparse. Is that Ringo you've hired fot the session ? . . .lol
I'd forgotten how much I liked The Byrds. This could almost be them (or is it in fact an out take from one of their early recording sessions ? lol). Very nice 'false ending'; a very clever and typical 60's thing . . .You've captured the sound and vibe of the early Byrds so well. Your voice/lyrics are just perfect. . . Bravo.
'Trying to replicate the 60's . . . and succeeding hansomely. Are you sure you aren't the 5th Beatle or the 5th member of The Byrds ? This is just great. Fantastic arrangement, like the guitar solo of chords. Very nice 'Bigsby' wobbles at the end and a very 'familiar' but original guitar riff. Like it.
This is a lovely little tune. Love the guitar tone (nice short solo that George Harrison would be proud of), instrumentation and you vocals are just spot on. I'll be humming this all day, even though I've only heart it once . . .so far. Nice major 7th. chord to finish with too. A very nice 'Beatles' touch. 6 stars !
