This is a track I did with my band, In Between Worlds. We disbanded shortly after but are now playing together again. Stacy Tucker on vocals. I recorded all other tracks. One of my best works as of yet.
I'm Wes. I play guitar, piano, bass, sing, and do my best at programming drums.
Satchel is just a nickname. Really, I'm just Wes. I play guitar mostly, but I also play piano, bass, and program drums. I can sing - but I don't like to because usually there's no possible chance of being able to recreate it live, as no matter what - I'll always be more concerned with my guitar work. I love to record, play music, and write music. I've been a fan of heavy rock for years, but am just now opening my mind to progressive rock and even some metal. It's given me much more to chew on when concocting rhythms. Hopefully I'll have some quality stuff for you guys to listen to soon. The band I'm in was called "In Between Worlds". We're playing again now, but under a different name - of which we haven't come up with. That'll be soon though.

Story behind the song
The lyrics to this song were actually two different songs. I did the verses and stacy did the chorus. They just kinda worked out together. The song is pretty much about liberating yourself from people that oppressed or tried to oppress you at one time or another.
Lyrics
won't you listen to me I can't do this anymore and these absent stares they eat me to the core and i'm dieing a little every time stop crying you knew you were not blind you're throwing it all away you don't have the mind to pay attention to what i say how can i make you stay when you'd rather be there I'm givin it up i don't want to live in yesterday i'm thinking wide horizons palm trees and evergreens and this special place in me that you will never see
