Trash-pop, guitar rock and melodic miscellany.
Not so much a band as a bloke with a guitar and a laptop, The Smivets deliver a genre-bending blend of pop, rock, punk, prog and many other monosyllables.

Very British, no doubt. I hear a bit of Yes, Gentle Giant, Jethro Tull in there. Really like the mixed and layered time signatures. Excellent work!

I say, how delightfully spiffing old boy :D
No comparisons, it's right up there with any I could make.
Another Smivet classic, twists and turns, smiles and gurns, and a perfect production as always.

This is SO English in it's quirky timing and instrumentation. It also has a, 'dare I say it'? a very 1967/Flower power type of feel too. "Cups and Cakes" period of Spinal Tap. You've done it again Steve, brilliant and just up my street. Cucumber sandwich anybody ?

Brilliant. Yeah, very British in the instrumentation, melody and the excellent use of timing. Great arrangement, very impressive work - a little bit of many things, but the biggest skill is in putting them together in just the right way - something you always manage to do. Really enjoyed this one.
You have a great style-I like your music a lot!
