Lyrics
girl with the sunshine eyes sweet as she can be ain't never gonna be the same what you done to me? girl with the sunshine eyes sweet as she can be walkin' down a country road stole my heart from me oh blue skies, she's got the warmest smile side by side in the meadow for a while oh blue skies, wind in her hair so fair laughter like bells ringing in the air girl with the sunshine eyes never be the same never be the same never be the same

Gabe + Pinedog = a very good thing. Has that "live on a tiny stage" feel - a real treat.

Hi Gabe! :) I'd gone over and listened to yours and Jiri's collab..it was SO lovely...but I did recognize the buzz/hum, and posted the solution on his site while posting my thoughts on the song. I like this one, too...sounds very sweet..good clean guitar, and nice vocals. :) Ok, all you need to do is to plug ALL your recording equipment into the SAME outlet, even if you have to buy a multiple plug outlet..because to break the loop, it must be closed, if that makes sense, and if you've got it plugged into different outlets, it keeps the loop open, hence the hum/buzz you hear. Some say it's caused from old house wiring, but I've seen and dealt with this problem before several times, and each time plugging into the SAME outlet, stopped it. Let me know if this helps you, Gabe; I searched the internet for this answer a good while back when I was confronted with the same problem...then searched it again when I was trying to help Kurt Lewis Neufer solve the same. Have a great even

Wow, how catchy!! Reminded me of sweetest moments of my childhood, when I was listening to Roy Orbison... Your voice looks like his a bit in this song. And dulcimer ROCKS :) :) :) Really fantastic job, can't help adding it to station :)

Hi Gabe, Very nice accoustic gem. Great vocals and of course I like the harmony. Reminds me of some lost 70s folk rock.

This is a beautiful folk song Pine, love the dulcimer, it's such a crisp and sweet at the same time sound. Gabe's vocals are great, not to mention the harmonies. All in excellent form here.
Gabe, this is wonderful. Great piece, a lot of Paul Simon here, Dulcimer, wow, yes, you rarely get to hear the sound today! Sounds a lot like summer! As close to perfection as it gets! Great job! Andreas

Good stuff. That dulcimer is great. And the vocals are excellent. I like this interesting collaboration... polished lyrics and vocals, coupled with Pinedog's homegrown stringed instrument. Just perfect!
