John Cardoso decided to experiment with a computer microphone, acoustic guitar, and himself when he was 16 in highschool. The results were the first recordings of what has become The Definition Is, a collection of songs created, and sometimes improvised by John.

Story behind the song
Dancing Shoes is simply a song relating dancing to falling in love and teaching each other what love is. The songs from the Guns of Orphan EP are the only ones recorded with a condenser mic for the lyrics. The lyrics were inspired by a certain dancing female I've come to know.
