John Cardoso decided to experiment with a computer microphone, acoustic guitar, and himself when he was 16 in highschool. The results were the first recordings of what has become The Definition Is, a collection of songs created, and sometimes improvised by John.

Story behind the song
This was actually written when I was just in a really pessimistic point in my life. I felt really out of place, didn't want to talk to many people. The social anxiety was overwhelming and just made my pessimistic view of society even worse. I thought everyone was ruining everything and that everyones morals were screwed.
