Burning Circle - Texas Progressive Rock
Burining Circle currently is comprised of one member, Scott Kronenthal. These songs and others have been written over the course of several years and are influenced by a wide variety of genres and personal experience. Most often the music was created first. Sometimes many months passed by before the lyrics became inspired - usually from something personal, from a book or poetry, or even a news event that hit home. There is a real attempt to make the music by Buring Circle real and from the heart as opposed to something contrived just to "sound mainstream". I hope that when you listen you can see something personal and meaningful to you in there somewhere....

Ever start to believe and not want to?
Lyrics
Finding My Way To Before V1 Lie there awake, Nothing has changed, No state of grace, There’s no one to call on, Who’s minding the store? V2 Your still the same, The truth didn’t change, No way to play safe, I have to be stronger, Who’s on watch tonight? REF A part of the hunger and thirst of the heart, The frenzy and fire of the brain, Which yearns the fruit forbidden, The golden pomegranates of Eden, To quiet it’s fever and pain, V3 The time’s getting late, Can’t you just wait, It’s not like before, There’s no words I can count on, Finding my way to before V4 A passionate daze, Now a focused malaise, The wise surely know, There’s no one to call on, Who’s minding the store? Guitar solo Interlude Part I What happened to the prayers of 200,000 silenced in an instant? Out of the war to end all wars they came to pray and to fill the trains. How was it that there was not one earnest voice from behind the oven doors? Chorale voices Break That faith was then No part in the plan Can’t you stay here right beside me You leave me no reply Interlude Part II Out of the deafening silence I hear a straining voice asking for forgiveness. The waning daylight can’t hide the troubled truths that have been created. My eyes uplifted with outstretched hands. Chorale Voices V5 Lie there awake, Nothing has changed, No state of grace, There’s no one to call on, Finding my way to before. V6 A wavering state, I lived a mistake, I’m trading the strange, For no more than freedom, I’m minding the store. REF Outro
