Progressive Rock

Burining Circle currently is comprised of one member, Scott Kronenthal. These songs and others have been written over the course of several years and are influenced by a wide variety of genres and personal experience. Most often the music was created first. Sometimes many months passed by before the lyrics became inspired - usually from something personal, from a book or poetry, or even a news event that hit home. There is a real attempt to make the music by Buring Circle real and from the heart as opposed to something contrived just to "sound mainstream". I hope that when you listen you can see something personal and meaningful to you in there somewhere....
Band/artist history
Burning Circle is Scott Kronenthal. I have taken a few years to compose what I have on the site. I take my time and try to write from the heart and to what matters to me at the time.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No live performance yet - I am currently working with several great musicians in hopes of performing some of this music live here in San Antonio, TX. I will announce this on Soundclick when the time comes.
Your musical influences
.... from Bartok to Metallica with a generous helping of Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, Yes, Coldplay, Queensryche, and Nightwish.
What equipment do you use?
I have a modest home studio in my converted garage. It's mostly low-end stuff, but I do the best I can with it.
