This is my newest song. It's about the difference between being free to be what we want to be and free to be what we're supposed to be.

Hey, I'm Drew Miller. I'm 13, and I've been playing guitar since I was in the 3rd grade. I started writing songs in 6th grade, and now I'm in 8th. I listen to John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, David Gray, Nickel Creek, Cold War Kids, John Butler Trio, and Jeff Buckley to name a few. I like to think about lots of stuff, and usually it ends up spilling out onto paper as song lyrics. And I think about good quality stuff, to assure you. My melodies are catchy but not too over the top happy or anything. I try to keep a good balance. Please listen and feel free to download some of the songs to your iTunes or whatever. It will please me if you do.

Lyrics
I wake up to another cup of coffee Twenty-four hours ago One day later and another cup drank The day is just out the window Constantly striving For more, more, more everyday All I ever get Is more, more, more of the same I'm free to nothing more than fine Free from things I cannot buy But that won't satisfy I want to break free Free from this compromise I once heard That God disturbs the comfortable And that he comforts Those who are disturbed Why do I feel emptiness In the comfort of my life? Maybe this idea Isn't so absurd I'm running the race in the Land of the Free Free to be what I'm supposed to be
