Story behind the song
I saw a photograph of a woman about my age who was the victim of domestic abuse. I tried to imagine in those weary eyes the younger person who had no idea what was in her future. Why do they put up with it? What are they waiting for?

HI Dave! I wrote about this topic too. Check out my song called Fly. I had a band member call me up at 5 in the morning needing a ride home to another city. Can't believe they always go back.
